BASEBALL BETTING |
When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8
1/2 innings if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called,
or suspended, the score will be determined after the ' last full inning,
(unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half
of the inning, in which the score is determined at the time the game is
called). Rules for run line bets are the same as those for baseball totals.
Wagers on total runs will be considered "NO ACTION" if a pitching change
occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.
Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following manner:
All open plays with a win must be closed within 14 days, or the play will be
deemed no-action.
Action-team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher.
One specified pitcher - this is wager on or against one specified pitcher,
regardless of the other starting pitcher.
Both specified pitchers or listed pitchers - if starting pitchers are
not exactly as listed, your wager will be deemed 'NO ACTION".
All Baseball wagers will be considered ACTION unless specified by #2 and
#3 above.
In the event there is pitcher change prior to the game money odds may
be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher,
'ACTION" wages will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher.
A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
A 10¢ money line will be used unless otherwise specified. Sides only -
20¢ on total.
How to Figure Baseball Parlays
For each of the PRICE or ODDS quotes on your teams, look at their respective
PAYOFFS (to $1) and ALWAYS ADD $1 TO THESE PAYOFFS.
Multiply your BET times the products of these payoffs (to $l) for
your parlay return. Subtract your bet.
EXAMPLE:
Bet $50 on Mets (-150) parlayed to Cubs (-130) and the Tigers (+120).
| Bets |
Dodgers |
Yankees |
Red Sox |
Return |
| $50 x |
(-150) |
(-130) |
(+120) |
$325 = $275 |
| |
1.67 (1.00+.67) |
1.77 x (1.00+.77) |
2.20 = (1.00 + 1.20) |
|
Return does not include your $50 bet. Use same method for ANY NUMBER of
games.
